Reaction of Methyl Vinyl Ketone with Lithium Dimethyl Copper is Electrophilic Substitution Reaction in which a H+ from double bond in Methyl Vinyl Ketone is replaced by methyl (- CH3) group from Lithium Dimethyl Copper producing pent-2-one.

Therefore reaction of Methyl Vinyl Ketone with Lithium Dimethyl Copper produces pent-2-one.
